Who Is Pierrot?
Pierrot is a silent clown dressed in white who carries a bell with him at all times. When he tilts his head the bell rings — a small, cat-like detail that fans describe as endearing and unsettling in equal measure. He is written as a yandere: gentle and devoted on the surface, obsessive underneath. While the protagonist works her shift at the café, Pierrot sits in a corner and silently watches her.
One of his defining quirks is that he breaks the fourth wall. He behaves as though he is aware he is being observed — that there is a player on the other side of the screen — which feeds the game's uncomfortable, watched-from-the-shadows tone.
Pierrot in the Current Build (Day 1)
In v0.2, Pierrot is the protagonist's main focus on Day 1. He calls her "my lady" and places a bell collar on her. At the end of Day 1 he appears outside the protagonist's window, offering flowers — a scene players bring up constantly when describing the game's mood. In Day 2 he is given a voice, performed by Darthsuki.
Is There a Pierrot Route?
Players talk about a "Pierrot route," but it is important to be precise about what that means in the current version.

A Pierrot-focused path has been observed by the community — cooperating with him through Day 1 leads to the window scene described above. However, the dedicated romance endings are still being written and are not yet implemented in v0.2. The developer (Garula) has stated that several full romance routes are planned for future updates. So: there is a path, but the "ending" most route-hunters are looking for is not in the game yet. For how branching works in general, see the endings guide and walkthrough.
Common Fan Questions
Is there a Pierrot route?
There is a community-observed Pierrot path in v0.2, but the dedicated romance ending is planned and not yet implemented. Treat "Pierrot route" as a path, not a completed branch.
Why does Pierrot carry a bell?
The bell rings when he tilts his head, cat-like, and he places a bell collar on the protagonist. It is one of his most recognisable traits in the current build.
Who voices Pierrot?
Pierrot is voiced by Darthsuki in Day 2 of v0.2. The official itch.io page is the place to confirm full credits.
Is Pierrot the antagonist?
The game is a yandere horror VN, so "antagonist" is the wrong frame — his threat is affection, not villainy. Whether he reads as a threat or a love interest depends on how you respond to him.
Spoilers — Backstory
Spoilers: Pierrot's role in the forbidden love story
In Day 2, the Jester tells the circus's central tragedy — the forbidden love story of Harlequin, Pierrot, and Columbina. Within that story, Pierrot is framed as the only "monster" who did not devour Columbina. Fans read this as the emotional core of his character: tenderness inside a cast defined by consumption and violence. Some community discussion also suggests Columbina may have been the one truly married to Pierrot, though that thread is unconfirmed.
